OBJECTIVES
1.1
Comparison of the
properties of the doping rare earth ions in transparent garnet ceramics.
1.2 The statistics of distribution and the spectroscopic properties of
the
doping ions in systems with multiple cationic sites.
1.3
Controlled homogeneous and inhomogeneous broadening of lines in doped
materials.
2. The
effect of structure and composition on the
emission and heat generation properties in the doped photonic materials.
2.1
Broadband emission
processes in near infrared.
2.2 New systems and processes for sensitization of the narrow band
infrared
emission in structurally-ordered systems.
2.3 New systems and processes for broad band infrared emission in
structurally
disordered systems.
REZULTATE
Obiectivul I: Efectului compozitiei si structurii mediului
activ si
distributiei ionilor dopanti asupra starilor cuantice ale centrilor
activi
I.1. Statistica
distributiei si proprietatile spectrale ale
ionilor dopanti in sisteme cu pozitii cationice multiple.
Au fost investigate prin spectroscopie optica sisteme cu doua pozitii
cationice
de tip sesquioxidic dopate cu ioni 3d (Cr3+) sau
4f (Nd3+,Yb3+),
Ho3+ cu emisie in infrarosul apropiat.
Activitati:
Au fost realizate pulberi nanocristaline, materiale policristaline si
ceramice
sequioxidice de tipul Sc2O3
dopate cu Ho3+ si
Cr3+ si Y2O3
simplu dopate cu Nd3+
sau Yb3+ si codopte cu (Nd, Yb) in
diverse concentratii.
S-au efectuat masuratori spectrale de inalta rezolutie: absorbtie,
emisie
(folosind diverse surse de excitare- lampi, diode laser, laseri la
diferite
lungimi de unda) si cinetica emisiei, la diferite temperaturi
de la 10 la 300 K, pe probele de sesquioxizi preparate in activitatea
1.1.
S-au analizat datele spectrale in corelatie cu structura
mediului si modul de preparare urmaridu-se: gradul si statistica de
ocuparea a
pozitiilor cationice de catre ionii dopanti, sateliti spectrali,
nivele energetice, intensitati, procese de transfer de energie, etc.
S-au
efectuat modelari ale datelor si determinari ale parametrilor
caracteristici.
S-a evaluat potentialul de utilizare a sistemelor
ceramice studiate pentru noi tipuri de laseri

In 2009 a fost sustinuta teza de doctorat “Efecte de
compozitie si structura
in emisia ionilor de pamanturi rare in cristale si ceramici“
de catre
doctoranda Gheorghe Cristina, teza care poate fi
